1. Keep MDF (Medium-density Fiberboard) dry and clean. Do not wash it with large amounts of water, and avoid prolonged immersion of any area in water. If oil or stains appear, remove them promptly. You can use a mild, neutral household detergent with warm water, or ideally, a special MDF cleaning and protection solution. Do not use alkaline water, soapy water, or other corrosive liquids on the surface of the MDF, and never use gasoline or other flammable or high-temperature liquids to wipe it.
2. It is recommended to place a doormat at the entrance to prevent dust particles from being brought in and damaging the MDF. Heavy items should be placed stably. When moving furniture, do not drag it; lift it instead.
3. Clean stains and oil stains on the surface of the MDF with household cleaners. Do not use large amounts of water to wash the MDF. For general stains, simply wipe dry with a damp mop (not dripping wet). If stained with chocolate, grease, juice, or beverages, simply wipe with warm water and a neutral detergent. If stained by lipstick, crayon, ink, etc., it can be gently wiped with methanol or acetone.
4. In winter, pay attention to increasing the humidity of the MDF surface. Mopping the floor with a damp mop to appropriately increase surface humidity can effectively prevent gaps and cracks in the MDF. If cracks appear in individual areas, please notify the sales unit in time for local filling. After filling, appropriately increase the surface humidity to facilitate the recovery of the MDF.
5. MDF should be kept away from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to high-temperature artificial light sources to prevent premature drying, cracking, and aging. During the rainy season, keep windows closed to prevent rain from soaking the MDF. At the same time, pay attention to indoor ventilation to dissipate indoor moisture and maintain a normal indoor temperature, which also helps extend the lifespan of the MDF.
