In the construction industry, even the smallest error can lead to the failure of an entire project. Formwork is a crucial component. The correct methods for selecting formwork are as follows:

1. For beam-column structures, medium-sized modular formwork is recommended. Due to the varied cross-sections of beams and columns, multi-layered plywood is unsuitable.

2. Medium-sized modular formwork can be used for wall formwork. Since high-rise buildings of the same type generally require uniformity, medium-sized modular formwork helps ensure a high turnover rate.

3. For the core tube of super high-rise or high-rise buildings, "hydraulic climbing formwork" is recommended. Climbing formwork combines the advantages of large formwork and sliding formwork. It can rise layer by layer during structural construction, resulting in faster construction speed, saving space and tower crane lifts, ensuring safety at heights, and eliminating the need for external scaffolding. It is particularly suitable for the construction of concrete inner cores in steel structures.

4. For floor slab formwork, it is recommended to use whole sheets of multi-layered plywood, preferably 15-18mm thick multi-layered formwork with phenolic resin coating. After repeated use, the edges of this type of building formwork become damaged and need to be cut in time to ensure that the edges of the multi-layer board are flat.
